Recently in an Interview with Reuters, BlackBerry’s chief marketing officer Frank Boulben has said that BBM will be releasing for Android “within days”. He also added that BlackBerry developer team has fixed the issues which arose at the time of initial cross-platform launch of this messaging app last month.
The reason for the delay in BBM for Android app was due to the leaked version of the BlackBerry Messenger beta app, which was downloaded by around one million users and resulted in a technical issues. This delay in the launch has created a lot problem for BlackBerry and its partner companies like Micromax and Samsung, which had promised to release BBM pre-installed on their devices.
