Design And Build

Micromax has made the Canvas HD similar to the Samsung’s Galaxy range of smartphones. The round edges make it skim and feels good to carry the one in the hand. Canvas HD is available in the two colors means that in White and Black which are perfectly a good match between design and style. But its 5-inchscreen makes you feel effort while keeping it your pocket and the other side it is bit bulky too.

Design of Canvas II has been retained in Canvas HD also. We didn’t guess it but the print of Canvas II can be seen in Canvas HD also. Seeing the front view of the phone it looks great and glossy and we can find out the sensors placed above of the display along with the Front Camera.
Down side of the screen there are three touch keys meant for accessing the phone with ease namely: for Tabs i.e. you can have the running tasks by tapping the key, second is Home Key for going direct to the Homescreen of your device and the last is return to return a step back from the current operation.
Looking to left is volume rocker and right is the Power key while there is no dedicated Camera Key. The very sleek design of the phone makes it attractive and the indulging camera tweaks its beauty more to an extent.
Due to the sleek design of the device the 3.5mm Audio jack and microUSB Slot has been kept to the top of the Phone.
The back panel of the phone is kept unchanged with the only difference of Dual Led of rear camera in Canvas HD over Canvas II.

Display

This ideal Phablet has 5” Display with an HD IPS screen with a HD resolution of 1280×720 and a color depth of 16.7 million. This gives superb display a Real HD experience. The contarts ration is quite good along with the Sharpness. But you will have a little problem in bright sunlight as it is no AMOLED display.

Wrap-Up

Some of its key features as MediaTek’s MT6589 1.2 GHz quad core processor, 1GB RAM, 8MP rear Camera proves it to be the living beast among the other Smartphones. It has more features according to its price, and the only word that I will say is if you are willing to have a new Mid-ranged smartphone then it is made for you.
