How to Change Office 2013 Background Image, Automatically Resets to None [Fix]
Microsoft’s latest Office suite “MS Office 2013” is in the development process and the Preview version i.e. Customer Preview version of Office 2013 has been released by Microsoft, which can be download from below link:

The new Office 2013 has totally different User Interference, as compared to previous versions. There are many great new features, which has been added to it. This new Office 2013 is totally based on Microsoft’s most popular Metro UI, on which whole concept of Windows 8 depends. If you are using the Office 2013 Consumer Preview version, then it is sure that, you will be aware that this time Microsoft has removed the Aero Glass feature from Office 2013, so that it can be fully match with the new Windows 8 Aero Less User Interference.
The Problem which has to be fixed:
By removing the Aero feature from Office 2013, Microsoft has added a new feature by which you can change the background image of Office 2013 with 6 pre-available images. But by the default, there is no background image set in Office 2013. You can do by opening any Office 2013 program, and after that click on “File” Menu and after that on the “Options” tab from the left sidebar.
Now from the Options window, you can easily change the background image using the drop-down box given in Office Background section as shown in below image:

But you will notice that this doesn’t works, the background is back reset to white colour. That’s the problem we have to fix. Let’s do that…
The Solution of the problem:
The solution for this is very easy, just you have to sign in using your personal or any Windows Live ID and after that only, you will be easily able to change the background.
To sign in, click on “Sign in” link given below the title bar buttons or click on File menu and then click on Account option present in left sidebar. Enter your Windows Live credentials and once you complete the sign in process, you’ll be able to change background image.
Please be aware that, signing out from Office 2013 will again reset background image to none.
