Facebook is all set to introduce its new Video Ads on its user’s news feed on both web and mobile versions. But there are many Facebook users who are now worried as these Video Ads might eat their expensive mobile data each time they are accessing Facebook. If you are also among them, then let us tell you that there is no such problem. The Social Network has recently revealed that these video ads will only be downloaded if you are using a Wi-Fi connection, it will be not downloaded if you are on mobile data connection.
“On mobile devices, all videos that begin playing as they appear on the screen will have been downloaded in advance when the device was connected to WiFi — meaning this content will not consume data plans, even if you’re not connected to WiFi at the time of playback.”
There will be also an option to choose disable or enable this feature in the settings page of Facebook Mobile App on both iOS and Android.
