Microsoft says, Windows 8 is Officially launching on October 25th

Wow, finally Microsoft has officially announced the launching date for it’s much discuss Operating system, “Windows 8“. For the launching of Windows 8, Microsoft is planning to hold an event in New York City. This launch event will take place on October 25th 2012.

Microsoft’s various other popular Operating System such as, Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 were launch in New York City only. It is among one of the important launch by the company. For the launch event, the invitation that Microsoft sent to the media doesn’t share any more information beyond when the event is going to be, location and a line that reads: “You’re invited to celebrate. Windows 8.”

The company will also release it’s Surface tablet which are powered by Windows RT on ARM. In an Interview on Windows 8 launch and Microsoft Surface, Steve Ballmer said ““I think we have a very competitive product from the features perspective,” [...] “If you look at the bulk of the PC market, it would run between, say, probably $300 to about $700 or $800. That’s the sweet spot.”
