Samsung has recently launched a successor of its previously launched Galaxy S Duos, which is simply known as Galaxy S Duos 2. It is a new mid-range Smartphone in Samsung’s Galaxy series, acting as a competitor for other low budget Smartphones in India. The new Galaxy S Duos is in many way similar to the original Galaxy S Duos smartphone. The design and display looks very similar. There is no difference in the display size of both these smartphones. Both packs 4-inch of TFT display screen along with 480 x 800 pixels resolution.
But in the new Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2, the processor has been upgraded to dual-core clocked at 1.2GHz. Instead of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the updated Galaxy S Duos 2 runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, which is also a positive point in the favor of S Duos 2.
On the imaging front both these models comes with 5MP of rear camera with LED flash and VGA front facing camera. But the new S Duos 2 smartphone has got HD video playback support, alongwith 720p Video recording. Other specifications and features are similar. Both of these models includes 768MB of RAM and 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and AGPS.
