Microsoft removes new Surface Pro 2 update following user complaints
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 owners are facing some problems, that is the reason the company has decided to remove the new firmware update, following the complaints regarding installation failure and battery issues (for those who were able to update successfully). As a part of Microsoft Surface December Update package, this new firmware update was available for download, but the ongoing complaints have apparently led to the unusual takedown.
“To ensure the best experience for our customers during the holiday season, we have taken steps to remove the update for Surface Pro 2 that was previously published,” the company said. It seems like the fix will be released next year. “After the holidays, which is sure to be unwelcome news to customers that have already installed the faulty update.
