OnePlus is currently one of the popular smartphone brands in the market. It is popular for two things - first one is for launching amazing smartphones and the second one is for making it hard for the customers to actually buy these smartphones. And the newly launched low-cost OnePlus X is no different.

How to buy?


OnePlus X will be available starting next month in two different variants - one with Onyx black glass and the Ceramic edition, which is also limited to only a few thousand units.

The price of OnePlus X Onyx is Rs. 16,999 and OnePlus X Ceramic edition is Rs. 22,999. As it is hard for OnePlus to manufacture the ceramic edition of OnePlus X, so there will be only 10,000 units of ceramic editions on sale.

In India, both the OnePlus X models will be available exclusively on Amazon.in. But in order to buy it, you will need an invite. And no you can’t use OnePlus X Onyx invite to buy the Ceramic edition. If you want to buy the limited edition Ceramic model of OnePlus X then you will need a Ceramic-specific invite.

You will be able to buy the OnePlus X Onyx from Amazon.in with an invite starting November 5 and the limited Ceramic edition starting November 24.

Buy OnePlus X without invite


While OnePlus has already sent 5,000 invites to the early subscribers, but it will be sending more in the coming weeks. The good thing about this new invite system is that you will need an invite only for one month. Ya! for the first month, those who want to buy the OnePlus X smartphone will be required to use an invite. But from the second month (after one month) you will be able to purchase the OnePlus X smartphone without any invite.

OnePlus will host weekly open sales on Amazon.in website. You can sign up for the reservation list here to register for an invite.

In simple words, if you want to buy OnePlus X in November, you will need an invite, but if you want to buy it without any invite, just wait for December.
