OnePlus X, now officially supports the world’s most popular custom ROM - CyanogenMod. The developer team has today released the first CyanogenMod 13 Nightly Build for the cheaper, but gorgeous OnePlus X smartphone. Thanks to that, you can now ditch Oxygen OS and install official CyanogenMod on your OnePlus X.

The biggest reason why you should switch from the default Oxygen OS to CyanogenMod on your OnePlus X is because of the timely updates. As CyanogenMod will get new Android updates faster than the Oxygen OS. In comparison, the Oxygen OS is yet to get Marshmallow update, while on the other hand the CyanogenMod 13 comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow code base and several other tweaks and useful built-in customization options.

Before you go ahead and hit the Download Link, please note that CyanogenMod 13 for OnePlus X is currently in its nightly stage. So, it is obvious that it will contain some bugs. Make sure to think about those bugs, before flashing the ROM on your phone.
