Google Keep Can Now Save Pages And Use #Hashtags
Google is making its note-taking app, Keep, better now. After releasing an important update to Inbox by Gmail, the search giant updated Keep with two new features. Google Keep will now allow users to save links and use #hashtags.
The company released a new Chrome extension to make saving links easier and better in Keep. Thanks to this extension, you can also add some text to the link before saving it. And not only on the desktop, you can also use the same feature on Android too. Just the difference is instead of using a Chrome extension, you could do that by just using the “Share via” function, which you can find in Chrome or any other apps.
The second feature is the use of hashtags. Google is calling it Labels, but it uses hashtags functionality to work. Labels isn’t a new feature, it was already available in old version of Keep. But what prevented users from using Labels is its process of activation. So, Google thought to make it easier by introducing hashtags like structure. And it is perfect.
The new version is now available for download. You can get it from the Play Store or App Store.
