HP’s new Chromebook 13 is worth a shot
HP, in partnership with Google, has created a new Chromebook which is worth a shot. Dubbed as Chromebook 13, the Chrome OS running Laptop features a 13.3-inch display screen with an all-metal design and impressive specs. One of the first things which you would notice in Chromebook 13 is its design and build quality.
The design which you are seeing on HP’s latest Chromebook is the result of HP’s partnership with Google. The search giant has once again shown us that Chrome OS isn’t only for the students, but also for the power users. Inside the Chromebook 13 you will find Intel’s Core m Skylake processor, which makes HP Chromebook 13 the world’s first Chromebook to feature a Core m processor. And thanks to that processor, it not only offers good performance but also 11.5 hours of long battery life, which is important for every Laptop users.
Along with Core M, the Chrome 13 supports up to 16GB of RAM and display resolution of up to 3200 x 1800 pixels. So, if you have a good amount of budget in your pocket, you can easily by the high end model with all these features. On the connectivity, it has two USB-C ports, a USB 3.0 port, a headphone jack, and a microSD card reader.
HP believes Chromebook would be a best solution for business users. The company has also introduced a dock called the Elite USB-C Docking Station, giving users an option to connect two displays and several other accessories.
The HP Chromebook 13 starts at $499 for the base model and will begin shipping in May. Please note that the base model won’t include Core m processor, but will feature same build quality just like the high-end models.
