HTC Vive iOS App Now Available For Download

HTC Vive companion app is now available for the iPhone users. The iOS version is basically same as the Android version which HTC released with the launch of HTC Vive. Just like Android version, the iOS version also allows users to use the unique features of HTC’s virtual reality headset. These features include the ability to receive calls, text messages and more.

But not every Android feature is available on IOS. Like for example the option to send quick preset responses to calls or texts is absent on the iOS version. However, HTC Vive is still the first and only VR headset to offer these types of features, connecting users with the normal world, when they are busy exploring the immersive world of virtual reality.

HTC first released its Vive companion app in April, since then the app has received mix response from the users. While every thing looks fine, but the notification feature is what might irritate users. As it requires HTC’s official Vive desktop app to work. But still we are happy to see that HTC has finally released the iOS version of the app.
