How to Close Vested Account for investing in US stocks from India

If you have ever searched for the ways to invest in US stocks from India then you might have come across 2 famous apps or services - INDmoney and Vested. Both of them allow Indian users to buy US stocks. Both of these services have their own set of Pros and Cons, and Vested is known for introducing lower charges (though IndMoney has now reduced its charges too).

How to close Vested & Drivewealth Account Online

While, Vested doesn't mention any details on its website on how to close Vested Account, but you can follow the steps mentioned below to officially close your Vested and Drivewealth Account.

  1. Compose a new Email to help@vestedfinance.co from the email account which you used to register on Vested.
  2. In this email you can write that you want to close your Vested account 
  3. Vested will soon reply you back with a pdf file which you will have to download and fill in your Vested Account details and your Drivewealth Account ID.
  4. After filling the form, you have to email that pdf file back to them
  5. You will then receive a confirmation email from them saying that your account will be closed in 2 or 3 days.
That's it, you don't have to do anything else.
