1. Introduction 

This Privacy Policy applies to the LinkHashi Chrome Extension ("the Extension"), developed and published by Technodify. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring complete transparency about how your data is handled. Because LinkHashi is designed as a secure, privacy-first utility, all data processing happens entirely locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal information on any external servers.

2. Information We Access and How We Use It 

To provide its core functionality of bulk-opening links via a two-click method, LinkHashi requires temporary access to specific data within your browser. This access is strictly limited to the active tab you are interacting with:

  • Website Content: The Extension reads the Document Object Model (DOM) of the webpage you are currently viewing. This is required exclusively to identify and extract the hyperlinks located between your first and second click.

  • User Activity: The Extension temporarily monitors specific keyboard inputs (such as holding your designated shortcut key) and mouse clicks. This is used solely to detect the start and end points of your intended selection range.

This data is processed in real-time within your browser's local memory and is never transmitted to Technodify, external servers, or any third party.

3. Data Storage 

LinkHashi does not store a history of the links you open, the websites you visit, or any personally identifiable information (PII). The Extension uses the local Chrome Storage API exclusively to save your personal extension preferences (such as your customized shortcut key and Batch Safety Mode tab / Link limits). This preferences data remains on your local machine.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure 

Because LinkHashi does not collect or transmit your data off your device, we do not share, sell, rent, or trade your data with any third parties, data brokers, or advertising platforms. Your data is never used for personalized advertising or tracking. LinkHashi complies fully with the Chrome Web Store's Limited Use Policy.

5. Security 

All operations performed by LinkHashi are executed locally within the secure sandbox of your Google Chrome browser. We do not maintain databases, analytics trackers, or external servers that could be breached to expose your browsing habits.
