New Nextbit Robin Update Brings Camera & Audio Improvements
Nextbit has today released a new software update for its Robin smartphone. As promised, the new Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update for Nextbit Robin brings several new improvements. The biggest changes in all is the camera app, which according to Nextbit is now faster and better. It also includes the April security patches with new emojis.
Other software improvement includes enhanced audio output. Nextbit has partnered with Arkamys, a French audio firm, to make Robin;s dual front-facing speakers and headphone jack, offer greater volume with less distortion. Nextbit also released two new ringtones made by DJs Giraffage and Lauren Lo Sung, which can be downloaded from Nextbit’s forums.
That isn’t all. Along with better audio output, Nextbit has also launched a new custom headphone dsgined by Aiaiai. It is a special edition of Aiaiai's TMA-2 and has been designed to match the style and color scheme of Robin. The price of this headphone is $225 and it is now available for purchase on Nextbit’s online store.
To remind you, Nextbit is a new smartphone brand, whose main aim is to offer better features, instead of high end specs. Nextbit Robin is company’s first flagship device and as Nextbit notes, Robin is one of its kind smartphone. It has a built-in cloud support that automatically uploads unused apps and photos to the cloud.
