Moto G 4th Gen to come with updated camera and NFC
As Motorola has now started teasing its upcoming Moto G 4th Generation aka Moto G 2016 smartphone, the rumors and leaks have also started heating up. After we got a closer look at the phone, a new leak from a blogger named Roland Quandt, tells us more about this yet to be announced smartphone.
According to the leaked components chart, the upcoming Moto G 4th Gen will come in two different variants. One with 2GB RAM and another one with 3GB RAM. As usual, the consumers will be getting two of the most popular storage options i.e. 16GB and 32GB options with a microSD card slot. Along with that, the Moto G 4th Gen is also expected to include an improved 13-megapixel or 16-megapixel camera on the back with “laser focus” technology, and a 5-megapixel on the front. While we don’t have any official confirmation yet, but 16MP looks attractive.
Another interesting feature which was noted in the leaked specifications sheet is NFC. If this is true then the Moto G 2016 will actually be the first Moto G series smartphone to include NFC. The phone is also expected to include a fingerprint scanner, as revealed by Lenovo executive earlier this year.
Well, right now we don’t know much about this smartphone. And we will not even recommend you to blindly believe these rumors as rumors are things to change. But you don’t have to wait much as Motorola has already scheduled a press conference for the new Moto G unveiling on May 17th in India.
