Now You Can Buy From Your Neighbourhood Stores Online On Amazon

Amazon is expanding its marketplace and trying to reach more places in the Indian market. The company has launched a new feature on its Amazon India website called “Local Shops on Amazon.”

The “Local Shops on Amazon” service will allow Amazon users to purchase items from their neighbourhood stores online, without even moving outside their home. All the local stores in your areas will be on your fingertip.

As reported by Techcrunch, Amazon started the pilot 6 months ago, and already has more than 5,000 shops on-board. These shops will deliver the ordered products to the customer themselves.

Though we don't have full details yet, but it appears to be region specific feature. So, don't expect to see it in your area on the launch date. Amazon still might take a few months to cover most of the regions of India.
