LG Gentle Flip Phone With Android 5.1 Lollipop Official In Korea


LG has unveiled a new Android flip phone in Korea today. Dubbed as LG Gentle, the phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop Operating System and packs a 3.2-inch of 320 x 480 pixels touch screen display screen, powered by 1.1 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor with 1GB of RAM.

The LG Gentle features a T9 keypad with a dedicated Q button which when pressed will display the most frequently used applications. The phone also includes a soft leather-like finish on the back, which is impressive. LG Gentle is company’s third Android flip phone.

The LG Gentle packs 4GB of Internal Storage with expandable memory via microSD card slot, a 5-megapixel camera on the back and a 0.3-megapixel on the front. The phone also includes a 1700 mAh battery inside with 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and GPS.

As you can see, the LG Gentle is a low end smartphone, especially designed for the customers with limited budget. The phone will be available for purchase in South Korea starting July 29th exclusively on LG U+ with a price tag of 200,000 South Korean Won (around Rs. 11,000 INR).

There are currently no details when it will be coming outside Korea. But when it comes to India, it will be one of the best affordable smartphones.
