As expected, Google on Friday launched its free RailWire Wi-Fi service in India. Mumbai Central becomes the first railway station to finally get this service. Made available in partnership with RailTel, Google says that passengers can use free Internet for as much time they want. But after their first hour, the internet speed will drop.
You can use Google’s Free RailWire Wi-Fi network on your smartphone, tablet or laptop. To know how to use it, just follow the below mentioned steps.
How to Connect to RailWire Wi-Fi for free Internet
Step 1: Turn On Wi-Fi on your smartphone, tablet or Laptop.
Step 2: Wait for a couple of seconds and you will see the ‘RailWire’ network.
Step 3: Just tap on that and it will connect to that network.
Step 4: Now open a web browser and visit the URL - http://railwire.co.in
Step 5: It will ask you to enter a mobile phone number. Just enter that and you will receive a four digit OTP code.
Step 6: Enter the OTP code in your Wi-Fi login screen and click on “Done.”
And you are done. Enjoy the high speed internet free of cost.
