The two extra scenes which Marvel usually adds at the end of its movies - one in the middle of the credits and one at the very end, when you think that everything is over.

Before you start reading about Civil War’s mid and post credit scenes, please be warned that it contains SPOILERS from the film.

Captain America in Wakanda

Marvel took Captain America: Civil War to introduce two of its new superheroes - Black Panther and Spider-Man. Both of them will be getting their own solo movie in coming years. While Spider-Man makes very small but notable appearance, Black Panther on the other hand takes good space on the screen.

The first credit scene, which comes during mid-credits, shows Bucky Barnes undergoing a medical test. If you remember, Iron Man breaks his metal arm in the final fight of Civil War. Bucky then tells Cap that it would be good for him to go in sleep mode. And as the scene zooms out, we discover that Cap and Bucky, both are with Black Panther aka T’Challa, in his Wakandan facility.

For those who don’t know, Black Panther is Marvel’s first Black superhero. He is the king of Wakanda, which is also referred as the most advanced country in the Marvel universe. So, if they say that they can help Bucky, then they can do that.

Marvel is planning to explore the story of Black Panther in his solo movie in 2018.

Spider-Man: Homecoming

The last credit scene in Captain America: Civil War is of Peter Parker. In the scene, Peter explains his Aunt May how he got bruises. Hiding the actual truth, Parker tells Aunt May that it happened during a fight with a boy named Steve. And as some of you might know, Steve is the real name of Captain America. The scene ends with Aunt May leaving the room, and with Peter wearing a laser-emitting device on his wrist.

From the scene, it appears like Marvel is teasing the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming movie which is scheduled to release in 2017. This the first time when Marvel has got creative control over its iconic character i.e. Spider-Man. As previously Sony owned the rights.
